1. Why microneedling prices differ so much
The word microneedling covers very different appointments. The differences are mainly here:
Who treats you: a medical practice or a beauty studio. A medical practice can offer treatments that a beauty studio, which works cosmetically, does not.
Device: a professional pen like the Dermapen 4 is different from a dermaroller for home use.
What is included: skin preparation, numbing cream, serums, mask and aftercare are not included in the price everywhere.
Area: face only, or also neck and décolleté.
Time: how much time is planned for analysis, treatment and care?

Who performs the treatment?
Which steps are included in the price, and what costs extra?

3. What an appointment at Skin2Glow includes
Before the treatment
We analyse your skin and adapt the treatment to it. Beforehand, we apply a numbing cream so the treatment is well tolerated. Some people describe the feeling as a light pricking.
The treatment
Depending on your skin, we prepare it with a gentle HydroDiamond treatment or a light fruit acid peel. Then follows microneedling with the Dermapen 4, during which we apply a hyaluronic or collagen serum.
The finish
A soothing sheet mask and finishing care.
Slight redness afterwards is normal, similar to a mild sunburn. Avoid direct sun in the following days and use sunscreen consistently.
4. How many sessions?
Microneedling is usually not a one-off treatment. We generally recommend several sessions a few weeks apart. How many you need depends on your skin and your goal. We discuss this before the first treatment, so you know the total cost.
5. Who is microneedling not right for?
Please talk to us before your appointment if your skin is currently inflamed, you have cold sores on your face, are pregnant, take medication or have a skin condition. We will then clarify whether and when the treatment is suitable for you. For medical questions, a dermatologist is the right place to go.
