What is ProCell Microchanneling – and why is it better than microneedling?
ProCell Microchanneling is the modern, more precise alternative to classic microneedling. Instead of rotating needles, the technique works linearly and in a controlled manner, creating uniform microchannels and reducing unnecessary tissue trauma. ProCell MicroChanneling - FAQ
Microchanneling is a non-invasive treatment for stimulating the body's own collagen and elastin production. By selectively stimulating the uppermost layers of the skin, the natural regeneration process is activated without penetrating deep into living tissue. Unlike traditional microneedling, this method uses a precise stamping technique instead of pulling or rolling movements, thus reducing the risk of skin damage.
The growth factors contained in the serum promote cell regeneration and healing. Cytokines and regenerative proteins are introduced into the skin via microchannels, stimulating collagen production and improving skin structure.

The treatment is minimally invasive and suitable for all skin types. When performed correctly, it does not cause hyperpigmentation or scarring.
Contraindications include: pregnancy, uncontrolled diabetes, active herpes in the treatment area, acute inflammation, infections or dermatitis.
Typically, you start with a length of 0.25 mm. If necessary, this can be increased to 0.5 mm. For hair treatments, 0.5 mm is usually used.
Most people only experience a slight tingling or stinging sensation. Numbing cream is generally not necessary for 0.25 mm. It can be used optionally for greater depths. No numbing cream is used for hair removal treatments.
At depths of 0.25–0.5 mm, the redness usually subsides within a few hours. At greater depths, it can take several days. Compared to traditional microneedling procedures, the regeneration time is significantly shorter.
Slight redness or a rosy complexion is normal. Pinpoint bleeding can occur at greater depths. The skin usually looks like it has a mild sunburn.
The recommended interval is four weeks – regardless of needle depth or treatment area.
For mild skin rejuvenation, 2–3 sessions are often sufficient. Acne scars or deeper wrinkles may require 5 or more treatments. Hair treatments require at least 6 sessions.
Initial improvements may be visible after just one session, with more pronounced results usually appearing after the second treatment. Collagen regeneration begins approximately two weeks after the treatment.
Yes. Light peels or microdermabrasion can be performed beforehand. However, no additional topical agents or intensive procedures should be applied immediately after the treatment. Light therapy is generally possible.
The serums contain biotechnologically produced growth factors and cytokines to promote skin regeneration. They also contain DNA repair enzymes that address light-induced skin damage.
There are two versions: PRO and MD. The MD serums contain a higher concentration of growth factors.
A session typically lasts about 60-90 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

Microchanneling is a linear stamping technique that creates evenly distributed microchannels without pulling or damaging the skin. This reduces the risk of skin tears and makes the treatment significantly more comfortable. Furthermore, the application is more efficient, as wider applicators cover a larger area in less time. Downtime is typically minimal.
In contrast, classic microneedling creates irregular and angled channels. This can make it more abrasive and cause a downtime of approximately 5 to 7 days.
The treatment is generally associated with only minor physical discomfort. Most clients do not require numbing cream and experience no significant pain. Specific techniques are used during the treatment to further minimize any potential discomfort. After the treatment, many report a slight feeling of tightness in the skin.
